Two Year Olds

This action-oriented approach is how they learn and make sense of the world, but for the grown-ups involved, it can take a lot of patience to support a two-year-olds trial and error. Fortunately, our teachers at Kate's Korner come fully loaded with patience and humor - mandatory equipment when it comes to teaching two-year-olds! At Kate's Korner, it's those characteristics that sometimes give 2's a bad rep that we love most about them. Their curiosity, persistence, creativity and enthusiasm are characteristics we seek to protect and nurture. And if they come with the odd temper tantrum? Well, they haven't been on earth long yet, and it's our job to greet them with empathy and help them develop the executive function and social-emotional skills that will help them learn to meet challenges with level heads and compassionate hearts.

I can do it by myself!

If you ask a two-year old (or even if you don't) they might tell you "I can do it by myself!" And why not? Hands on and head first is how two-year-olds roll!
